10/29/2023 0 Comments Outlook express 6 spell check![]() ![]() ![]() With the new version, the only choice is to totally turn off spell check, or to wait till I'm done typing the e-mail, hit Send, and then go through the whole annoying spell-check thing that highlights each suspicious word, and hit "Change," "Ignore," or "Add" to the dictionary. It would even capitalize the first word of my sentence if I forgot to hit shift. Then I could look at it, fix what I wanted if any problems were left, and hit Send. ![]() In the old version of Outlook we had, the spell check would correct things in an e-mail as I typed or it would underline suspicious words to bring them to my attention, just like when you're typing a Word Doc. At work we just upgraded to Windows 7, and it's fine, except for one annoying thing I can't fix in the new Outlook e-mail that comes with Windows 7.
